The Association runs a series of competitions and outings for local anglers (TD1 postcode area) throughout the year as detailed below.

Alec Gall Quaich – Saturday 27th April 2018 – 0800 to 1600hrs – GAA Water
Crichton Cup – Wednesday 22nd May 2018 – 1700 to 2200hrs – GAA Water
Duffus Cup (overnight comp) Fri / Sat 14th / 15th June 2018 – 1700 to 1000hrs – GAA Water
Junior Comp – Saturday 15th June 2018 – 0800 to 1600hrs – GAA Water
Wintrup Cup – Saturday 20th July 2018 – 0800 to 1600hrs – GAA Water – (change of date.!)
Bill Hill Trophy – Saturday 10th August 2018 – 0800 to 1600hrs – GAA Water
Weigh-ins for river competitions take place under Galafoot Bridge after the end of the competition sessions.
1st Loch Competition – Sunday 9th June 2018 – 0900 to 1600hrs Venue TBC
2nd Loch Competition – Sunday 15th September 2018 – 0900 to 1600hrs – Venue TBC
Summer outing – TBC
The Association also runs a season long heaviest trout competition. The minimum weight for entry is 2lb. Please contact Alan Simpson, Competition Secretary, on Mobile No. 07751332092 if you want to weigh a fish in for the heavy trout competition.
